Gabriela Schauman, founder of The Type Factor

My fundamental purpose is to teach people to work better, together.

I am an organizational consultant, coach and facilitator with a degree in Communications from the Andrés Bello Catholic University in Caracas, Venezuela, a Certificate in Management from the University of Florida, graduate studies in Organizational Development and am a Certified Organizational Coach, member of I.C.F.

I started my professional life in the area of advertising and corporate communication and became interested in interpersonal communication processes and their difficulties. This is how I discovered the Myers Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®), the most respected personality questionnaire in the world, used by 80% of the companies that make up the Fortune 500.

Certified in the US in 1993, today I have attained the level of MASTER PRACTITIONER , which makes me one of the greatest experts worldwide in this topic that I’m passionate about. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of groups, organizations and individuals to help them become “people experts” starting with themselves, thus becoming their best version and developing skills to improve the quality of their relationships.

I handle work sessions in both Spanish and English, which is an added value for multinational companies. Geographically, I physically deliver in all Latin America, Spain and the US.

My specialty is to discover people’s strengths and constructively take advantage of personality differences to integrate high-performance work teams, develop more influential leaders, support change processes, improve communication, climate, well-being , engagement and ultimately, results.

In the academic area I have been a guest professor at the Institute of Higher Studies of Administration (IESA) Caracas, Venezuela and I am currently part of the teaching team of the International Certification of Organizational Coaching (CICO), endorsed by the ICF and supported by the United Nations Organization (UN).
